A.J. & Friends Classic Cars This car belongs to a friend, Beth Pitsonbarger, who owns a Sunoco Gas Station/Auto Repair and Wrecker Service in Cedar Point, Ohio. It's a 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT with a 429 CJ 4-speed. Linda and I had one brand new in 1970 just like it! Later I also bought a used '70 Cyclone Grabber Green Spoiler with a 429 SCJ 4-speed and 4.11 gears. So for years we had two 1970 Cyclones for our family cars. An orange one and a grabber green one. Linda learned to drive a 4-speed stick with the orange one. Prior to that, she had a '67 black Plymouth 440 GTX automatic. She did ok. Linda was already used to the power the GTX had. I had so many neat muscle cars (all brands) in the '50s, '60s and even early '70s, but not many pictures of them. That is probably why I'm so fanatical about photos now.
