A.J. & Friends Classic Cars This car is an all original 1968 Camaro 396 CI 350 HP with a Muncie M 22 4-speed, a Hurst shifter, and a 12-bolt. Color is fresh Hugger Orange PPG. Super nice show and cruise car. The owner is John Maubach. His wife Shirley got it for him last summer for his 48th birthday. The person they bought it from in Ohio kept it in a vacuum bubble. John had me put the Animal Jim Tweak on it which included rebuilding the original Quadra Jet carb and super tuning the engine. Then I replaced the stock clutch with a Centerforce. The power steering box had a bad leak at the Pitman shaft. I replaced the steering box with a new one. New KYB shocks were also in order, aligned front end, and installed Autometer oil and water temp mechanical gauges, and an Autometer tach. Show cars that sit for long periods fall victim to all types of leaks and deterioration. It actually is best to drive them a bit. I know it will be driven with John owning it. It runs like a Beast!
